lake Nakuru national park was created in 1961 around Lake Nakuru one of the great lakes of Rift Valley o the south of Nakuru, it is known for its millions of flamingos that nest along the shores. the park has a nice view of wildlife mostly the big safari animals excluding elephants, animals found in the park are rhino, Rothschild, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, lions, leopard, monkey, and baboon, the most common wild animals are giraffe, hippo, white rhino, buffalo, zebra, Animal such as wildebeest, cheetah and wild dog are rarely soon, black rhino, lion leopard are occasionally seen
