Kiambethu tea farm is one of Kenyan`s oldest tea farms, which is 40 minutes from the center of Nairobi, the farm was first bought and farmed by AB McDonell in who was the pioneer in 1910, he was the first person to grow and sell tea in Kenya, the farm now it is a family business, the farm is situated at 7200 ft: visit and learn the history of the farm

Itinerary

Day one

depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive to Kiambethu tea farm, which is just 20 km from Nairobi arriving at 11 am, you will be offered a cup of tea or coffee, a local tour guide will take you through the farm, you will be educated about the process of tea plantation and process of making it. you will also see the colobus monkeys and a wide variety of birds return to the house have a luncheon the varada with sweeping views across the tea field to Ngong Hill, in the afternoon you will exit the farm and return to Nairobi
