Malindi town is located 120 km north of Mombasa in Malindi Bay at the mouth of the sabaki river, lying on the Indian Ocean coast, the name Malindi is believed to mean a gift from God that you have waited for long. this is a great place to visit there are so many recreational activities, the area has a beach where you can enjoy the beach life with your family and friends, engage in a water sport or batting and pass time sightseeing
After breakfast, you will depart for Malindi and drive 11k7km North of Mombasa, you will visit Swahili Village of Gedo lying South of Malindi which nothing is recorded about the village, you will learn a few things including; its Vast compound house and mosques built with Core, Sand, and Plaster with a blend of Swahili and Arabic architecture. Visit the National Museum to take a look at the ming Porcelain, glass, and Perian earthenware proceeding with the journey to Malindi you will come across the Stone cross placed by Vasco de Gama in 1499 before heading for lunch visit, the Snake farm look for various types of snakes. Later in the afternoon visit Malindi falconry, look for various Caged birds at prey followed by existing the city back to Mombasa.
