Climbing to 5,199 meters, Mount Kenya is the second tallest mountain in Africa. The scenery surrounding this designated World Heritage Site is breath-taking. It is pristine wilderness with lakes, tarns, glaciers, dense forest, mineral springs and a selection of rare and endangered species of animals, high altitude adapted plains game and unique montane and alpine vegetation. Visitors can enjoy mountain climbing, camping and caving with the mountain’s rugged glacier-clad peaks providing the perfect backdrop.

this is a full day trekking, you will be picked up from you hotel or lodge at 0730 hours and drive towards Naro mora path with an altitude of 3,000 m the trekking begins from here with support and a guide of a professional and experienced guide, after trekking for about 600 m that`s at 3600 m you`ll stop for a picnic lunch, the proceed rolling up to the top of the ridge at 4000m at this place you will have a good view for bird watching and you will also be able to have a nice views of the mountain peaks, have a walk here later 1600 hours get back later in the evening travel back to your hotel/lodge have your dinner.
